Poverty is a curse. It is a complex and multi dimensional phenomenon. Conceptually it can be visualized as unequal distribution of income or unjust sharing of the fruits of development by segments of society in the country. HRSP is working at the poorest part of AJ&K. One of the causes identified was malnutrition with over population with less land holding & not access to preventive and curative aspect of health promotion facilities. For the patients of different diseases HRSP obtained a small grant from AJK council to facilitate the poorest patients free of cost medicines.
