Established in May 1998, HRSP is a non profit, non governmental, non commercial, development, relief and charity oriented organization,
registered under the voluntary social welfare, registration and controls ordinance 1961 from AJK council Islamabad Pakistan on Feb 14, 2000 with registration
no.177. HRSP operates through village level community based organization (CBOS). and has linkages with various national & international organizations like,
Abt Associates, /USAID,UN-WFP, Concern World Wide, Handi Cap International, OXFAM, Trust for Voluntary Organizations (TVO), Ministry of Environment
RED CRESENT, and ISLAMIC RELIEF. HRSP is also a partner of Community-based Rehabilitation Center Peshawar (CBR) & member Rural Development
Foundation of Pakistan.
HRSP’s multi-sectoral approach for rural development includes Health & Education, Natural Resource Management (NRM), community based institutional
development at organization level, small scale sustainable village infrastructure projects, biodiversity conservation, and environmental protection through
community participation.
For Natural Resource Management the organization is working to ameliorate the poorest among poorer communities in rural and remote areas of state.
The special target groups are disadvantaged, neglected, marginalized and pastoral segment of society. The organization has a philanthropic group of
individuals who work on humanitarian basis in need for human values i.e. by patience, tolerance, motivations, dedications, openness, devotion and
pluralism.
HRSP works for achieving its objectives through provision of services in a number of areas including; health, education, environment, emergency response
and disaster preparedness, training, capacity building, social mobilization and small-scale community physical infrastructure services.
